Frequently asked questions
What do you want to know about my animal before their session?
I want to know their name, their age, their sex, their breed, their location, and whether they are living or have transitioned. I would also like a list of open-ended questions. After our session, I love hearing what resonates with you, and how what your animal has said makes sense to you.
Why do animals communicate with me?
I believe that the animals know that my intentions are pure and grounded, and that I come from a heart-centered place of service to them, and to their humans. I’m sure that they are aware of my abilities and my wish to communicate with them, and that they can share information about me on their different species “network.” I will offer healing energy to them first, and be of service to them. And then lastly, because I ask nicely if they’d be willing to speak with me, and I am clear about why I am initiating our conversation.
What do you do first when you start working with my animal?
After looking at your animal’s picture, I call out to them via telepathy and ask them to come in to my mind’s eye to talk. At this point I can see them walking towards me, or sometimes they will just appear in front of me. I tell the animal why I would like to speak with them, and ask if they’re open to a body scan, some healing, and a conversation. If they say no, unfortunately we are done, and out of respect for your animal we decide if we should try again soon.
What do you do during the scan of the animal’s physical body?
First I have to take note of what is going on in my physical body, and then dismiss anything I feel. Then, after permission from your animal, I channel, or have a sense of going into your animal’s body, and while there, can feel much of what your animal is feeling or sensing. For example, I have felt extremely sore teeth after a horse’s teeth have been floated, and I have felt extreme dizziness and a thick tongue after a horse was given a tranquilizer. A cat I was scanning had extreme nausea, which was then treated by his vet.
What does your conversation with my animal look like and sound like?
Usually your animal and I are talking in a nondescript area of my mind’s eye, but sometimes your animal is showing me visuals to get their point across, or to provide emphasis. The answers I receive to my questions can range from one word answers to complete sentences, depending on the health of your animal, and their comfort level. The content, again, comes in wide ranges - from simple images and mentions of favorite toys, to profound poems or thoughts.
Can you talk to my animal if they are sick or may be getting reading to transition?
Yes, if they are willing. I am not a medical professional, and if your animal needs to be seen by a vet - please get them in as soon as possible. However, your animal may give me information that can help you understand what is going on with them, or may provide information that will help with what you already know. And yes, animals will often let me know if their time to transition is nearing. From my experience, they also let me know that they will make it clear to you if you need to assist with their transition.
Do you need to be in the physical presence of my animal, or can you read my animal from far away?
I do not need to be in the physical presence of your animal to speak with them. It’s lovely when I get to meet, and work with your animal in person, but it’s not always possible. I have worked remotely with many species of animals, who reside all over the world. I have the same process with a cat who lives in California, as I do with a cat who lives on the island of Cyprus.
Can you communicate with animals who have transitioned?
Yes. The process looks a little different, because there is no scan done on a physical body. And, in my experience, it takes a while for an animal to acclimate after transitioning. But after waiting a while after an animal’s passing, it is then the same process of asking questions and conversing with the animal.
Are you also able to communicate with humans who have transitioned?
I am, although it has not been the focus of my work to this point. Transitioned humans often appear during the reading of a transitioned animal, to show that they are together.
