There’s Someone for Everyone
A couple of weeks ago, I attended an online spiritual summit. I was fortunate enough to have the time to sit and watch many interviews with various animal communicators.
A few things struck me as I was watching. It was really great to see so many like-minded practitioners in one place.
It was wonderful to hear new ideas and gain new perspectives.
I loved having a new appreciation for one of my teachers, whose class I attended a couple of years ago. The person I am now really appreciated her teachings and connected to her message even more than I did before.
And the whole experience invigorated, and inspired. As a result, I’ve given intentional time to making sure I’m still grounded and approaching my work in a way that can make me proud and in a way that is ultimately about the animals. I’ve done a deep dive into my website and scheduling, which was long overdue and so helped my clarity, and my meditation time each day has greatly increased.
What I also found, though, was that some of these people being interviewed were just not for me. And that’s okay.
And in the famous words of Ted Lasso, I attempted to be curious and not judgmental. And I had to decide if there was really anything that I was going to learn from each interview or if my time was better spent elsewhere.
(And had the thought that when it’s me giving an interview, it will be the same situation for others. The people who need what you are offering will find you!)
But upon further reflection, the big message from this awareness is that for every person who is looking for help with their animal or with any help in the spiritual world, the most important thing they can do is find the practitioner who best connects to them, their animal, and their relationship needs.
There is someone for everyone! This work is heart-centered, and always meant to be in service of the animals, so it should never be about the ego or competition. All we can do is love that we have helped, and love when others are being helped in a way that serves them best.
And the last big takeaway is that it felt so good to learn and feel my mind and heart expand. As the collective of Abraham teaches, it is the contrast and the expansion that helps us to higher vibrations, and if we are not learning, and growing, and expanding, why are we even here?
Community is so important. I’m grateful for the animal communication community and spiritual community who light the way and share the love, and I’m grateful for my community of friends, family, and clients - who often become friends and family! Together, we get to become better.
With love,
